"Preparing a Princess" is a discipleship program for girls ages 3-18. Every 4-6 weeks (depending on the proagram), we will send a lesson to your child. Your child will complete the lesson and correspond with us at Raising Up Royalty in order to recieve an emblem for each lesson. A more detailed explanation of each level's lessons and emblems can be found below.
As adults, we have all dreamed of being "Queen for a Day." We wish for just one day where we truly feel loved, pampered, and treated like royalty. As the Bride of Christ, we have a Husband who is the greatest Romancer of all time, and He desires to treat us just like the royalty we are -- not just one day, but everyday. "Queen for a Lifetime" is a monthly devotional-style newsletter designed to encourage women and help them to realize their worth as seen through the eyes of Jesus.
Girls in this age group are beginning to make life decisions, and we want to help guide them in those decisions. The "Queen in Training" program focuses on topics such as going to college, choosing a career, marriage and family life, handling finances, etc. It also teaches girls to use their gifts in service to God at church, at home, at school, at work, and in the community. This program is made up of original lessons as well as books written by well-known authors, and will not consist of lessons on a monthly basis. There will be correspondence on a monthly basis, though, to ensure the successful completion of the program. Hopefully, by the end of this program, your daughter will realize that she truly is royalty, because she is a Child of the Most High King! Upon completion of the program, your queen in training will receive a custom made "Raising Up Royalty" jewelry set to remind her throughout her adult life that she is a precious treasure in the eyes of God, and NOTHING can cause her worth to diminish.
14-16 year old girls are constantly faced with decisions and sometimes feel pressured to go in several directions all at once. We want to help your teenage girl learn to hear the voice of God and help her make sound decisions that will honor God and bring direction to her life. The "Royal Daughter" program gives Biblical perspective to issues concerning modesty, purity, dating, relationships, and other social issues teens face. This program also goes into great detail concerning spiritual gifts and helping girls discover what their gifts are. When girls realize that God has given them gifts to help them accomplish His purpose, they are more likely to follow His leading in choosing a career path rather than aimlessly searching for something to do with their lives. The emblems begin to phase out in this program. Your daughter will not recieve an emblem each month, but will instead receive a sterling silver ring at the end of each year that she successfully completes the lessons.
Most girls ages 11-13 struggle with those inbetween feelings of no longer being a child, but not yet old enough to do teen activities either. We realize the importance of recognizing that these girls are growing up, so we have tried to make the "Kingdom Girl" program something your pre-teen will enjoy. This program consists of magazine-style Bible lessons that include articles concerning relationships, fashion, health and fitness, and advice for dealing with problems. We will begin to address issues such as modesty and purity, teaching your daughter that true royalty have respect for themselves, and walk in virtue and honor. The emblems for this program are colorful jeweled bracelets, with each color representing a different meaning. More information concerning the bracelets will be sent with the first "magazine" your kingdom girl receives.
8-10 year old girls are active, and full of energy, so the "Daughter of the King" program has to be full of energy too! This program has adventure-style lessons in which most of the Bible lesson have adventure type themes. Your child will learn the importance of Bible study while treasure hunting, will get to know the Holy Spirit while space exploring, and will discover the true meaning of peace on a beach excursion, just to name a few. The emblems for this program are action badges pertaining to the theme of each lesson. Your child will recieve a royal banner in her first lesson which will hold the badges earned in successfully completed lessons.
Little girls ages 5-7 love to play dress up, and the "Pretty Princess" program builds upon that idea. The lessons use girly, dress-up, princess themes to instill Biblical principles in your little girl. Your "pretty princess" will learn that true beauty comes from within, and that all little girls are beautiful to God. Each lesson contains easy to understand stories for beginning readers, and activities to reinforce the lesson that your child will enjoy. The emblems for this program are jewels. Every princess needs her collection of crown jewels, and your little princess is no exception! Upon the successful completion of each lesson, your child will be sent a new jewel to add to her collection.
Most little 3 and 4-year old girls really believe they are true princesses. The Precious Princess program is designed to instill that belief in their hearts -- to teach them that as children of God, they are true princesses. The "True Princess" series comes in a storybook format and teaches your precious princess the honorable qualities of a true princess. This series includes lessons such as, "A True Princess Helps", "A True Princess Loves", and "A True Princess Obeys" just to name a few. The first lesson comes with a sticker book that should be used throughout the program. Each lesson will contain stickers pertaining to the lesson, and a larger "emblem" will be sent upon successful completion of the lesson. Your child can put it in the designated place in her book as a way to record her progress.

Is there a Cost?
By now, you may be wondering how much it will cost to enroll in the "Preparing a Princess" program. After prayerful consideration, we decided to accept donations for program. Matthew 10:8 says, "Freely you have received, freely give," and we cannot put a price on minstry to others. It is our desire to reach girls of all ages, races, cultures, and backgrounds, and we never want to be found guilty of turning anyone away because they could not "afford" the program.
We simply ask that you pray and allow God to lead you in your giving. The average "supplies and materials" cost of a lesson per month ranges from $8-$16 depending on the program. If you would like to give into Raising Up Royalty, click here to go to our donations page.
If you would like to enroll your child (or yourself) in the program, but are unable to give, enroll anyway! We know what that's like, and we believe that God will make a way and meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We just want to reach out to your daughter and let her know that she is special to God and to us!
